Prayers for the Parched: I Will Be Your Vision, Part 3

Psalm 146:8-9  The Lord gives sight to the blind, the Lord lifts up those who are bowed down the Lord loves the righteous.  The Lord watches over the alien and sustains the fatherless and the widow, but he frustrated the ways of the wicked.

There will be peace available to you from heaven

He has dispatched to you this peace, this rest, this relaxation

It brings a comfort of life and a full enjoyment

God hasn’t made any mistakes with you

You were born exactly at the appointed time

Your age will work for you

God has been the one who opened doors

You have done well with your opportunities

There is a new set of opportunities about to open

(And here’s where theprayer went to first person)

Ask me to show you by opening your eyes

I will be your eyes for your life, George

Even people with perfect vision need my illumination to see

Learn who you are in me.  You are righteous

Know my eye is upon you

I promised I would deliver the righteous out of all their troubles and indeed I will

I am a God who keeps every promise I have ever made

So learn of my promises

I long to share with you the fullness of life

George, some curves in the road will not be easy

There are snags

But turn your face toward me and my glory

I will show you how to stay standing and keep moving forward

I know the place I have for you to live

But I want you to commit that place to me and my purposes

As you do this, victory will be yours, and peace

I myself will protect it then

Open yourself to my love, my healing love, my perfect love

It will change you.  It is the fountain of life

In Jesus’ name

In his power, may these words go forth and bless you.
