The Anointing has come.
The Anointing remains.
The Anointing is with us.
As we have the anointing, we must not quench it. I Thessalonians 5:19 says, “Don’t quench the Holy Spirit.” In other words, don’t let the flow stop. Sin is one way the anointing stops. Sin comes from either doing wrong things, or not doing the right things.” We can put these things at the foot of the cross with repentance and receive forgiveness so as to restore the anointing flow. Think of a gardening hose when it has a kink in it and the water flow stops and how it needs to get straightened out and then the flow of water goes back to full strength.
Where there is flow, there is power. God’s goals are to bring salvation, healing and deliverance. God wants to partner with us in these things by releasing more of the Holy Spirit in us. What this actually looks like is that there will be supernatural occurrences happening around us because where the Holy Spirit is, things happen. Therefore, let us not be surprised when things happen around us. Some of us need to expect miracles. The Holy Spirit is constantly involved in impossibilities.
Some of us need to surrender our “knowledge points” of what is possible and ask the Holy Spirit to open our eyes to see His work around us. We need to be willing to release in prayer, His power to whomever we are praying for. In fact, we need to be ready and expecting to see things we’ve never seen before. The Lord is prepared to battle for our prayer recipient. He needs their cooperation of coming for prayer. He needs our cooperation of believing in prayer. God listens to the prayers of his children. He chooses to work through his children. Our main role is to give Him the glory, before, during and after His action point.
Healing Prayer is about letting the Anointing flow through us. We can put the flow back in our power line by releasing old patterns, perspectives and persuasions. God gives us new behavior, new resolution, and new perspective so we can make new choices. Align to allow more flow.
Acts 10:38 “God anointed Jesus…with the Holy Spirit and with power.”
